Dahua PSS DPI Fix
November 24th, 2011

Fixes the issue with PSS when using a higher DPI setting.
This updates the default PSS Skin files. It is recommended to first back up your existing PSS folder.
This includes the full PSS 4.05 skin modified for a 120 DPI.

Automatic Update
Unzip the downloaded file and run PSS-DPI-120-FULL-SKIN.cmd. If PSS is running it will be terminated before the changes are made. For Windows Vista/7 the skins are copied to the Virtual Store folder. Msiexec.exe is removed for Windows XP. Once it has completed the window will close automatically. To revert back to the default skin run PSS-DEFAULT-FULL-SKIN.cmd

Supported DVRs
Supports most Dahua DVRs including some models from:
EyeSurv, QVis, AData, XTS, TechPro, EDGE, ICRealtime, MACE, GEN IV, Q-See, and others.
Contact us to add your DVR to this list.

Manual Update
The default PSS skin path for Windows is "[Program Files]\Pro Surveillance System(EN)\Skin\Default". This is the location to copy the files for Windows XP. For Windows Vista/7 the custom skin path is "Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\[Program Files]\Pro Surveillance System(EN)\Skin\Default".

Download the DPI fix for PSS
Download the Installer and Skin (41MB)
Download the Skin only (20MB)

Manual Update Works on Windows XP 32bit and Windows 7 64bit.
Automatic installer only confirmed working on Windows XP, but it may work with others.
Contact us about errors or to help make the installer work with your OS version.
