Files & Folders are deleted while executing this program. This program is 3rd Party Software. Use at your own risk. Uninstaller File is Copyright Stirling Technologies, Inc.
Uninstalls all Geo DVR Programs found, Removes all Geo DVR Folders on root Drives, and Removes the old uninstaller program (which is recreated when you install). Effects GV250-GV2008 (& Multicam OEM).
Example Usage:
Put on a USB Jump Drive and run before installing v8.1.
Details:
Uninstalls all programs in the install list which contain the word "GeoVision".
Eg. GV250, GV600, GV650, GV800, GV1120, GV1240, GV1480, GV2004, GV2008, Multicam
Deletes if they exist, folders and all files within the folders:
GV250, GV600, GV650, GV800, GV1120, GV1240, GV1480, GV2004, GV2008, Multicam
Removes InstallShield Deinstaller file:
This is located in the Windows Directory. It is recreated on installation of an InstallShield Program.
Center V2 and other software are not effected. No Codecs are effected. Sometimes the InstallShield Deinstaller may become corrupt, run this program to delete that file before a fresh installation. Obviously it is deleted last as we require this file to uninstall old versions if they exist.
INI Setting files in the Windows directory are not removed. Registry entries are not removed either. These should not have any effect on installations hence leaving them.
Some manual intervention may be required on severally corrupt systems where the Geo Installer gives continuous errors or the Geo DVR System wont start after supposed successful installation
