Technical
The process is as follows:
• Create temp folder
• Run Format.com and dismount USB drive
• Run HP DOS Format tool and make USB drive bootable
• In this case it uses empty text files named as the dos boot files.
• Run BootSect to make NT Bootable
• Create the ~BT Folder from the users Source
• Copy all boot files to the USB Drive
• Create bootsector for boot.ini and save on USB drive
• At this point the USB disk is bootable for Windows Recovery Console.
• Ask the user whether they want to continue making the XP Setup disk.
• If they do not then the program will finish.
• If they do then it will continue to copy the XP Setup source to the USB drive.
• It will also copy additional files used during setup and for final cleanup.
• Remove temp folder
