Acklins
The Southern Bahamas islands of Crooked Island and Acklins lie in a shallow lagoon called the Bight of Acklins and are separated from each other by a narrow passage. They are sparsely populated and surrounded by a 50 mile barrier reef. Peaceful and remote, the islands are connected by a ferry. The capital is Colonel Hill on Crooked Island.
